At the regular meeting on September 1st, the Select Board set the property tax mil rate at 12.85 per $1,000 valuation for this coming year, a 1.2% increase from the current rate. Paul Binette, town Assessor, indicated that for a house with a valuation of $150,000, the yearly property tax will increase $18.75 and for a house with a valuation of $250,000 the increase will be $33.75. Property tax bills will be calculated and mailed within the next 10 days.
