Responsibilities
The Livermore Falls Board of Assessment Review shall review appeals from decisions of the assessors regarding applications for abatement of property taxes and make other determinations as are necessary with respect to property tax assessments according with the general laws of the State of Maine. Refer to the Board of Assessment Review Ordinance for specifics regarding scope, organization, powers and process.
Board members serve terms of three years and are appointed by the Select Board.
